Christmas Eve Eve

This year we got together at my parents' house on Christmas Eve Eve.
Rebecca loved all her gifts. So much, that she made me take a photo of her with each of them. I'm only posting one though. I'll email you the rest if you are interested. She loved her Build-A-Bear bed. Nanna even made her a bear size quilt.
Richie loves anything Angry Birds or Star Wars so you know Angry Bird Star Wars is just incredible.
Kenny loves his letters.
Rich got a Patriots nutcracker.
The kids made plates for Nanna and Grandad.
We visited Phoebe and Tony. They live next to my parents. Phoebe has collected lots of dolls. She wanted Rebecca to see them.
Phoebe and Tony gave Rebecca this stylish hat.
Playing barber.
Richie photo bombing the doll shot.

Rudolf Noses and Snowmen

The kids got Rudolf noses this year. You can't see in the photo but they blink and when the kids sing they sound like Rudolf with the coal on his nose. So cute.
 Special snowman breakfast.
 Very Christmas-y.

Pre Christmas with Joyce and Ed

We always get together with Aunt Joyce and Uncle Ed before the holidays.Unfortunately this year, Rebecca was too sick to come. Rebecca had pneumonia. She is doing well now.
Richie loves is new hat and mitten set.
Kenny opening a gift.

There were lots of laughs.

Joe's Antics

Joe was a little mischievous this year. Here are some of our favorite antics.

Boston in December

Amy and I purchased a groupon for a B&B in Gloucester.   We soon discovered there is not much to do in Gloucester.  We had to drive through Boston to get to Gloucester. So we decided to have some fun there before we went to Gloucester. Above is the tree in Fanuiel Hall.
Even the horses dress up for Christmas.
We went to see the Blue Man group. They were hilarious.
We walked through the Public Gardens and Boston Commons on the way back to the car. It is so pretty with snow on the ground.

Posing by the tree in the Boston Commons.

 So pretty.
Our B&B had character. We found this booklet, The Life of Glen in the night stand.  It was a weird parody of the bible.

The B&B's decor reminded me of Blanche's room on The Golden Girls.
We walked around Gloucester the next day. It was pretty and overcast.

We found a really cute neighboring town to walk around.
I love that they lined the streets with Christmas trees on the poles.
This bubble hen made me happy.
It was a really fun trip. I love catching up with Amy on these trips.

O Christmas Tree

Our annual trip to cut our Christmas tree down.
 It was a beautiful day.

The kids love running in the fields.

We usually get hot chocolate after getting our tree but it was so nice that we got ice cream. We brought Morgan some home. He loves it as you can see.
The next day we took the kids to see How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It was a really good show. The kids like it although Richie told me he missed Morgan about half way through. That really means he misses his video games. I love that Rebecca wore her tiara. She thinks she is too big for princess but dressing like one was ok. At least this day.

Snow Day

We had a very early snow again this year.We got 11 inches.  Luckily it did not last very long.
 We made a snow man.

 We had snow ball fights.
Even Morgan had a good time.
